I had to help him hatch this morning...no sign of veins...the membrane came off very easily, no blood...he even pooped in his shell. He is wobbly but he is curved like he is still in his egg. He has been out since 8:00am cheeping is this normal? Almost like his neck is stiff. Looking down position.

Hmm, I’ve never heard of that before. Are you 100% sure it’s alive ? Is it making noise ? Is it moving ? You say it’s neck is stiff, that couldn’t be too good!

Oh he's alive and chirping! Even standing, on wobbly legs...he just looks as if his neck is curved (like he is looking down all the time)

Oh he's very alive, even wobbling around..he just is in a position like he is looking down all the time. All my other chicks sort of started squatting? After they hatched. I guess for lack of a better description, he looks very stiff to me

Sounds like you’ve got a disabled chick. Either put him out of his misery or cook him in a pot when he gets bigger, he’s not going to live long anyways.

Can you give us a picture? Usually that's the best way for us to help, words can fail but a picture can fill in the blanks. I would definitely not write him off just yet.
