They are pacing their pen because they are bored and need much more room. Turkeys need a lot more room than chickens.

I don't know anything about turkeys but, when animals pace back & forth, they are either bored or feeling too confined.

If you go to the Forums at top of page, click on, and then scroll down to "Turkey forum"
The turkey folks can give 'their take 'on your question.
