Hi, I'm Cam!

@SirBluebird - Welcome to BYC! :welcome

Though you may not have a flock of your own now, it's great to see you've joined and are willing to learn more before eventually getting chickens! You couldn't have picked a better, more helpful community to be a part of to hear the experiences of other chicken keepers. Any questions you may have or tips you want to learn, if you can't find it in past forum posts or articles, just ask away!

Welcome! It’s nice to have you here. May I interest you in some quail? :D
Tiny and quiet, you can keep several Coturnix quail in a guinea pig cage. At six to eight weeks, you will see cute little eggs in the cage. :celebrate They taste like chicken eggs, and are great for salads and pickling! Of course, they work in the usual ways too. Amazon sells scissors for quickly cutting open the tops.
