Hi. I'm Cindy from North Dakota and the temps have been frigid.

What type of watering devices do you all use? Do you use galvanized waterers or something else?
I live just north of you in Saskatchewan and I use this one: Farm Innovators: Heated Poultry Fount . We've had a week straight of -30C weather, and it has never frozen completely over. I go out and poke it a couple times a day just to make sure, but it's always just a thin layer of ice (if anything). Highly recommend it!

:welcome:woot:woot:celebrate:yesss:Hello Cindy and welcome to BYC, You found an Awesome poultry Forum to be a part of with many great knowledgeable members who are more then willing to jump in and help you with any questions you may have. :)

All type of heated waterer works best in your FRIGID COLD part of the country this time of year. Your local TSC store should have just what you are looking for. :)
