(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Ive had chickens since i was about 6 years old.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have only 3 of my original 35. I lost a hefty amount from a combo of predators and vandals.
(3) What breeds do you have?
A Columbian Wyandotte, a Jersey Giant and Egyptian Fayoumi (all roosters
)
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I joined the site a few years ago but got off because i used the internet too much and needed d a break.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I help restore and build cars with my dad and grandfather. I'm also an avid graphic designer as well as website developer!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Im the oldest of 3, (I'm 20, my brother is 17, and my sister is 16) and I live with my parents on a 5 acre plot of land in rural California, about 20 miles south-east of Modesto.
My pets include my 6 dogs (2 dachshunds named Daisy and Dirk, 2 Chihuahuas named Missy and Tio, a Belgian Malinois named Brooke, and a Doberman named Misha), 3 Cats (all mixes and named Sophie, Leia, and Luna), 20-ish parakeets (i say 20-ish because a female is on eggs!) and of course my chickens, ducks (12) and geese (2)!
I'm currently a freelance Graphic Designer by day and on weekends I'm a waiter at a local steakhouse.
Hopefully i can restock soon and get back into breeding!
