I have had about 10 1 day old chics now and I seem to have bad luck with them.
They are all doing good and then I wake up and one dies and now I have lost almost all of the baby's.
I have bought some from tractor supply and they have all survived other than one polish one.
I have been doing research and people have said it might be upper respiratory infection and also maybe coccidia so I have been giving them corrid and I ordered Oxine so I can use a cool mist in the coop with them.
I'm not sure how much oxine I should use in the cool mist?
I have read 1/8 tsp to a gallon but also have read use 6.5 oz to a gallon?
I don't want to overdose my chics but I want to help them.
Please help if possible.

Welcome. How are you brooding them. Raising chicks can be easy if you are set up correctly.

What does you brooder look like? What temperature? What are you feeding? More information is needed.

I don't treat things, so someone else will have to advise you about that.

We keep them in a plastic tote with the heat lamp shavings give them medicated food keep the temp close to 95.
They are fes and watered everyday.

We have about 7 others that are 5 weeks old and doing great but I get day old from a friend they will live about a week or two then all die?
It's hard seeing little ones die like that.

Is your friend hatching them? Or are they shipped?

95 is a bit too warm, I shoot for 85-90 the first week and lower the temperature by 5 degrees a week, so they could be too warm. Chick can die of heat exhaustion.

How big is the tote? Can they get away from the heat? What's your bulb wattage?

The tote is really big and yes they can move away from the heat if needed.
The bulb is 250w red.
She does hatch them from her own chics but she has lost a lot too..
That's why I'm wondering what I can do to keep the little one alive.
Most of the ones we lost where Bantams but we just lost a barred rock last night that was about week old

I personally use a 125 watt bulb as it isn't so hot.

I agree with Diva, there might be something wrong with your friends birds. It isn't normal to have such big losses. Perhaps her birds have coccidiosis, which kills quickly.

She has lost a good amount too... They are healthy and running around then in middle of night I will go look to see how they are doing and I will find a dead one.
The barred rock lived a couple days after really slowing down.
I fed her with an I dropper every couple hours with pedi care to help her but she still passed
