Hi! I'm new to the group and new to chickens!

I'm new to the group and new to chickens. My husband was gifted 6 chicks about 3 months ago so I guess you can see I'm a chicken "mom" now. I really have no clue what to do with them or what they need. My father in law has had chickens so he is caring for them but I'm eager to learn! Any advice is welcome!
