It sounds like she might have a respiratory infection. Is there any chance you can take her to a vet? If not, can you take a video of her breathing, upload it to YouTube or Vimeo, then copy and paste it here?

I have the 2 girls left and one was attacked by raccoon 3months ago and i nursed her back from death she is blind in one eye her beak is mangled but she is big and happy and she is the head honcho around here but I'm really worried some times for the past 2 day when she is resting she sounds like she is shaking a spray paint can in side her she seems fine but I've never heard anything like it.

I'm sorry to hear that your hen is not well.
I agree, if you can get a video of the noise she is making it might be helpful.

Tell us bit more - do you see any signs of mucous from the nostrils/inside the beak, sneezing, coughing, watery or bubbly eyes?
Is her crop empty in the morning before she eats/drinks?
