Hello I am a new member to BYC! I am so excited to finally be a member! This is a wonderful community and I have found answers to my chicken questions many times on this website. I found out about BYC by researching about chickens. I currently have ten chickens and seven chicks. Chickens are so fun to raise and I love them! I also love the breeds. I was a beginner last year but now I know lots about chickens. I lost some chickens last year including my fair chicken, Treasure Miss her and the others so much. Right now I have six Jersey giant, Amuarucana,silkie mixes that I hatched in February They are very mixed up. I also have a speckled Sussex,a barred rock,a black star, and a New Hampshire red. All of these breed are very pretty. I also have four silkies that are about six weeks old and three bantam chicks that I got recently. I have joined BYC in hopes of receiving and sharing information about chickens. I'm so glad to be part of this community!
