Before you get new birds, you need to reinforce your coop/runs and do a lot of predator proofing or you will just be replacing birds all year long. Do you know what kind of predator wiped them out? Have your discovered how he got to your birds? If they are just free ranging, you can see it hasn't been working out for them.

She was with a rooster right up until about a week ago. It was racoons that got the others. I recently changed the fencing as the ground around the coop was just dust and the racoons just dug under the fencing and close to them that way. So I just wont let them out until I get something better in place.

G' day from Aus, sue is definitely giving you the classic " stink eye " . Just leave her with the eggs. You have nothing to loose, and she may just hatch them out.

They are probably fertile... a week is soo enough... keep us updated on what happens...

I think it's a safe guess that they're fertile and since she's taking good care of herself so just wait it out. good luck
