I don't think the leaves are poisonous, but the sprouts are toxic as are raw potatoes. So just in case, I would fence off the potatoes so you don't have any issues.

I've had chickens for a few years and just learned something new! I did not know that potatoes were bad for chickens!

Now I'm afraid of potatoes. I know you don't eat any greenish ones. I've heard of chicken people feeding dinner scraps to chickens including mashed potatoes. Maybe if they are baked it's alright for chickens to eat them.
