hi my 16 day old leghorn keeps sneezing and when he breaths i can hear like a tiny high pitch whistle what home remedy can work.thx

There could be a respiratory disease showing symptoms, or there could dust in feed or the brooder, mold from water spills in the bedding, or other environmental allergens. Lime in water will do nothing, but you should make sure that the chick is drinking plenty of water. If it is weak or not eating, electrolytes or a spoonful of sugar can be added to a liter of water. Gatorade or Pedialyte work also. There are a number of respiratory diseases including viruses, or bacterial diseases, such as MG or coryza. Most diseases are contagious and passed on by carriers or through the egg (MG.)

thx you it might be cause i have budgies and they make dust or its because a lady gave me it and it was cold outside and he was shaking and then i kept him warm
