Hi. My name is Cassie. We live in FLorida. We got our first girls in the fall of 2011. So we’ve have had chickens for 8 years now. We started with 8 RIRs.

We have always had chickens until Aug of this year. Then in mid Sept we started over with 8 baby chicks.

We love fresh eggs for ourselves, our family and to bless others. I really enjoy chickens and their personalities. I would’ve never guessed this before we had them. We got them to get healthy eggs.

I found BYC when searching the Internet years ago to learn about chicken care 8 years ago.

I decided to join b/c I have time now that are children are grown and we are empty nesters ....well kind of. We have a flock to care for again.
