Hi need an expert

Most of us like to use the look-don't-touch method. You can keep the chicks out with the pullets whenever you like, as long as the pullets can't reach the chicks. This way they get used to each other without all the drama. Is there a way for you to set up a pen inside the coop for the chicks?

Well i have my commercials in a large yard so i was hoping to put the coop with the chicks in it close to the coop with the pullets in it so that they can see each other

That works. You will probably have to wait until the chicks are at least six weeks old to let them out with the big chickens.

I have had very good luck with a one way gate. Big enough for chicks to get through, but too small for full grown birds. You can feed them inside the gate, so the big girls cannot keep them away from food. The chicks explore on their terms, but if get harassed have a safe place to retreat too.
