Getting rid of roosters follow up!

Plymouth Rock is a breed. Barred is one of the colour varieties. There are both bantam and large fowl versions.

Were they asking about the breed, or if your cockerels specifically were "pure" Barred Plymouth Rocks or a cross between that and something else?
They said, “The breeds you mentioned are not typically bantam breeds - are you saying they are crossed with bantams?”

I do have one Bantam EE cockerel and I understand he is a hybrid, but I am under the impression that the Bantam (Barred) Plymouth Rock(s) are a breed; they a heritage breed at that.

I’m hoping they are checking into it on their end. I wanted to check here with folks who know more in case I’m misinformed.

They're on the American Bantam Association's list of recognised breeds and varieties.

Easter Eggers are all hybrids though - they're not a breed whether bantam or large fowl.
