@sezjasper - totally agree, I kind of have a soft spot for retirees, after all, not a spring chick myself anymore

@Heidi - have to admit...I too would rather watch my birds than TV - So nice to have a peer group!
and @Kevin565 - love your avatar - my Inuit-hybrid just passed away this year, but I've still got 3 MacKenzie River Huskies and one adopted Siberian keeping my pack running, all be it a touch more domestic than it was before I lost her.

All I have left to say is chicken-folk are really nice and I sure appreciate all the support and new friends!
