Hi! New from Texas!

Hi, I'm new to chicken raising! We have 6 eggs in our hatcher and 17+ to go. Were on day 20! Saw some movement last night, eggs rocking! I'm so excited!! Waiting for our first pip!

How EGG-citing!!!! Now make sure, after you see that first pip, that you don't panic when the chick sits there for 24+ hours and doesn't do anything! Many people want to get in there and dig the baby out. Don't do it! The chick is busy absorbing the last of the egg yolk and detaching itself from the inside of the egg. He will zip out of the egg when ready.
