Hi, new here and have a question on chicks and pecking

I would strongly suspect "she" is going to turn out to be a "he". Chicks of mine that behaved like that all were little roosters-to-be.

They can sex chicks at the time they hatch with a method not 100% accurate. More like 80-90%. Out of ten chicks, you will almost be guaranteed to wind up with two or three roosters.

azygous, that makes sense. I guess he shouldn't be putting out there the "guarantee". I don't know, maybe he's willing to take them back if they're not girls. Well if I have 20 chicks, I sure hope I don't have 4-6 roosters!

I don't mind 1 or 2 but 6 is a whole 'nother story. And I sure hope the ones that are the peckers and RIR aren't all roosters. Yikes! I think I'll have my hands full.
