In the Brooder
Hi!
About a year and a half ago my friend sent me a link from this website where someone had converted his Eglu omlet to house ducks.
It took roots in my mind and then it took some time for me to gather all I needed to bring some ducks into my garden in an omlet.
I have 5 white and 1 brown Indian runner ducks. If all of them stay is depending on what sex they are and what group will form. They were born at the end of July and moved into my garden at the end of August.
We live in the Netherlands in a small food forest that I've been planting in the past 5 years.
Everybody asks me if I have names for the ducks, but I can't keep the white ones apart.
I'm really happy they are here, they are fun to watch, come and keep me company when I work in the garden and their bedding is a very welcome component in my compost system.
