Hello everyone! I'm in the planning stages before getting my first small flock of chickens. I'm actually 1-2 years out from being able to bring this dream to life. Ive been researching and reading for weeks but I could use some specific advice for my situation. I was so happy to find a friendly community of bird lovers. Can someone please direct me on where to post questions regarding what breed(s) of chickens would suit my family's needs?

Hi, it's nice to have you here! It would be helpful to those trying to answer questions to have a general idea of what part of the country you are in, location affects a lot. But this article from the Learning Center is another place to get an idea of what breeds might work for you:
