Sorry to hear about your Pekin.

You need more chickens to get over it.

We kept the chicken in a box inside as it was about to die. Our vet peacefully put it to sleep yesterday. It was our first chicken. It had a bowel blockage and probably a tumour of some description. The vet had been quite happy to assist but not possible.
