Eating shingles is a big NO!!! Maybe spraying the shingles with Blu-kote would help?

I tried that shiny "bird tape"...they are used to it. They chewed on my hubbys tractor seat, Judd was furious!

Hope the shingles aren't full of asbestos

We had a robin that loved to use my white mailbox as his toilet. I tried the bird scare tape and that worked for a day or so, then back to his usual routine.

Menards has bird spikes to put atop the mailbox but, they are sharp - wouldn't want to injure the birds or any kids that would be attracted to it.
