(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes! Very. My boyfriend has had them for a couple years, and I recently hand raised 4 additions to his 4 he originally had.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
8

(3) What breeds do you have?
Coocoo Maran. (I'll have to add the rest later, I'm not sure)

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
A friend referred me when I was asking her a ton of brooding questions! :P

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I'm a student getting ready to take my certification and start job hunting, so being a full time student definitely took up a lot of my time. I enjoy video games, cooking, taking care of my animals (1 dog, and my adopted chickens)

Great! I'll check it out, I looked a little through the threads and it seems like I will be spending a lot of time here, my boyfriend and I are doing some coop modifications now and it would be nice to have advice/show off our accomplishment to those who would appreciate it! Thanks for the warm welcome! :)

Welcome to BYC and you'll get more answers than you have questions here . Now I wouldn't say we love to chat . I would say we is happy to answer questions . Since a ton is two thousand better wright down the answers though . Not sure what was for breakfast this morning .:frow
