Hi rat /bird mite problem need advice on permethrin/ elector PSP please !!!!!

Hi everyone I hope u don’t mind me posting I’ll remove this once I’ve got a few answers.
My flat has become infested with rats, a new railway being started has sent rats to nearest
Blocks, they were living behind my boiler. Mites love boiler warmth and exploded in number.
( I’m also by a huge tree, with remainder of nests.)
To cut a long story short I’ve got gaps that have started to be fixed but I’ve become
Hugely rat mite rat tick / lice and bird mite infested.
I paid £400 in desperation recently for place to be sprayed but the firm used permethrin,
Which it seems even tho I’ve had all three treatments has not really helped much.
Uk has over used permethrin it’s only helped a tiny bit.
I can get a small amount of elector PSP, I’d like to know if it’s ok to use that very soon.
Last permethrin spray was this morning so now all dry.
Is spinosad/ elector safe to spray as well ? I can’t find anything saying that it’s toxic to
Use both in near time of each other indoors, only that elector spores work best when it’s not too hot
Or too cold.
Anyone used permethrin found it did not do much to help then gone straight onto elector PSP ?
Would one council out the other etc ?
Any advice appreciated, sorry to post here but I’m desperate, with a child getting bites and crawling feelings too.

Your situation reads like a nightmare. I'm so sorry you and your child are going through this. There should be no problem using the Elector after the permethrin. It should work better than the permethrin on mites. It's non toxic after it completely dries. Be sure to spray into every crevice where mites are breeding.

Thanks kindly, yes I used some I managed to get a 5 ml
Trial amount as I’m in uk u can’t get it easily.
Got a feeling it’s springtails too.
Keep getting swarmed in kitchen and bathroom.
So wonder if it’s springtails rat mites and maybe bird mites,
All come with rats.
Truth is 2x 5 ml of elector has not solved the issue.
Not really not sure if I should buy more or try fogging cedar oil and maybe hydrogen peroxide but I’m unsure if peroxide will ruin my leather settee ?
Wish I new what to do.
I’ve paid for the permethrin spraying £400 and at least £120 on cans of stuff and small amount of electOr psp
But getting bitten on neck shoulders and swarmed by something I can’t see yet feels like tiny pinprick sensations
It’s almost 10 months now.
I’m so lost.

I use Permethrin and have good luck with it. Not sure of your mixture.

could it be fleas? Does vacuuming often or hot dryer treating your linens and clothes help? Perhaps some food safe DE could be sprinkled where the rats were to kill the fleas or mites?

We do not have rats that I know of. However, we have been struggling with the exact same symptoms you describe for months in Louisiana. Crawling feeling and pin prick bites. Seems like it started with pets (cats and dogs) and went to humans. We have seen 2 vets. Pets treated with Bravecto for mites. The other vet is working on a solution because he's never heard of what I am describing. People have seen multiple doctors. All prescribe Permethrin cream which works for a day or 2. I have laundered pet and people bedding and towels like a lunatic for probably around 100 extra washes.
Have you found anything that works? I surely hope that you have because this existance is miserable.
