Hi all,
Thanks for welcoming me to your community! I am picking up my first ever 5 chicks in a few weeks here in Northeast PA - 3 buff rocks and two gold laced wyandottes. I have a brooder set-up (including a plastic tote, Ecoglow, etc), a sturdy 4x4 Quaker style coop, and no run! My two kids and I are looking forward to adding chickens to our family, which currently includes two cats. I am nervous and excited. Mostly going nuts trying to figure out how to manage building the run. I love all the ideas and exchanges on this website (I've been stalking and reading for a while! lol)

Oh, yes! I'm researching like a madwoman, figure I have a few months to get this all accomplished. I'm thinking 4x4 fence posts, 2x4 frame, 1/2" hardware cloth (with apron), door, corrugated roof (partial or entire). Lots to sift through for this inexperienced gal!
