My name is Candes. I live in a south Texas urban neighborhood with my husband and two sons. We garden organic and three years ago we added four hens in our quest to becoming self-sustaining. We have three Buff Orpingtons and one Barred rock hen. We don't have a huge back yard but we are able to house a chicken tractor and they girls have free range in the fenced off garden.
