hello! Me and my mom bought our first chickens around the start of 2024, and have been raising them free range with her ever since.
We currently have 12 hens and 1 rooster of various mixed breed, including Australops, Brahmas and Wyandottes.
We have 1 male and 1 female Swedish Blue ducks, although they are young and we plan to get more if any problems occur.
I love raising chickens and ducks by hand as young as I can. I play guitar and have 2 cats and a dog! I found BYC a while ago after searching chicken related questions multiple times, and having BYC threads show up each time. I’m just now finally joining because I have some questions I myself need to ask about an injured chicken.
Thank you for having me and creating this helpful community!
