New member here but not new to chickens. I have been using BYC as a resource for many years now and just decided to become a member today. We have 22 hens and 2 roos, two cats and a senior beagle. Our roos are Wellsummer mixes, father and son named Stefano & Charlie. We have a SLW named Dottie, a GLW named Sunny, a B&W EE named Betty (White), a senior BR named Momma, a senior BO named Blondie, a Light Brahma named Peep, 6 bantams (not sure what breed but they have the coloring of a BR), two black sex links named Frick & Frack, a bunch of RIRs that don't really have names because we can't tell them apart (lol), and a Jersey Giant named (appropriately) Jersey, I'd love to someday build a pole barn and have a bigger and nicer coop for them. The EE's are my favorite because they are so quirky and personable but I really love all my chickies. Except Stefano. He's a jerk. hahaha

Anywho, glad to be here. Looking forward to trading advice, ideas, etc with you all. Have a great day!

G’Day from down under Jessica [IMG] Welcome!

You might want to also pop in and say hello on your local thread: https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/26/where-am-i-where-are-you ‘Find your State’s thread.

I hope you enjoy being a BYC member. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.

If you would like to share pictures and stories of your flock, you have come to the right place. BYC’ers never tire of these and do not back away slowly or commence eye rolling when the photo album or home videos come out [IMG]
