So here's a question, can I get multiple chick breeds when I start or should I stick with one?

you can totally get multiple! especially because you'll get a variety of egg colors which is always really cool! but if you find you only find one and want to start with that it's perfectly fine

So here's a question, can I get multiple chick breeds when I start or should I stick with one?

Some people like mixed flocks and some stick with just one breed. I've always enjoyed a mixed flock myself, but learned through trial and error that some didn't mix very well (like the smaller Polish in with the big dual purpose girls).
