So my husband and I have been chicken "tenders" for almost a year now. We live in Las Vegas, NV. Small backyard flock of 6. White leghorns and Buff Orpingtons. We have a German Sheppard and will probably get another dog in the next year due to my German age. No kids yet, hopefully soon. We bought our chickens before we even bought our house... My husband was just so excited that they sold chickens in our area. He was supposed to be at work and all of the sudden I get a picture of 6 chicks and being told to research everything I could in a few hours. That's how I found this site. I'm a city girl, wanting a country life.
