I am ruralchild. Presently living in the north Idaho panhandle. Native of southern California, very rural area at that time. We had chickens for awhile, and I like chickens, though I don't have any, now. I'm here because I enjoy chickens. We had a couple Silkie roosters and several banty hens and one banty rooster. Very early in my childhood, the neighbors had a duck, a goose and several chickens free roaming on the property.

Poultry is cool. I also like swans.

We have wild turkeys around here.

Am looking forward to a lot of fun on these forums.
