(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I've been around chickens many times, but this is the first time I've owned them. They are so much fun and entertaining!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? We have 23 Hens, 6 Guinness fowl, two turkeys (Tom and Turk-Turk)
(3) What breeds do you have? To be honest I am not sure, I just picked out ones that I liked (like ones with feathers on their feet) with the requirement that they were a hardy breed.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I love when we go out and they run to us to get a treat. They love cut up grapes, banana's, and meal worms.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Hunting and Fishing
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have three dogs, eight cats, all the chickens I named above and we are getting Baby Doll sheep in June to raise for their wool.
