Hi! Trying to get advice about how to deal with my aggressive chicks.

UPDATE: We got 4 more chicks from a local store. So now we have the bullies in one box (and they don't really peck each other) - the EE, the 2 Silkies, and the new Americana (from the pet shop), and the 4 nice ones are together - the Polish, a Light Brahma, a Black Australorp, and a Barred Rock. Thanks for all your help!!
Pictures of your setup would help. Generally, unless the box you have them in once contained a refrigerator or a big huge load of watermelons, it is going to be too small.

Hi everyone! I just got my first chicks a few weeks ago. At the moment I have 8 chicks (one just died :{ ), some a few weeks old, and some born a few days ago. I have a Buff Orpington, Ameracauna (I think), Golden-Laced Wynadotte, and Golden Comet. My second batch is: Two Silkies (one just died), an Easter Egger, and a Polish Chicken. I decided to join BYC cause I need some advice ( :)), and before I just needed help, I was using BYC for advice based on old threads!

I have a problem with my latest batch pecking the Polish (they already killed the weak Silkie), here. Thanks!
Don't be upset over animals doing what animals do. I do not mean to sound crass, but that's what chickens do sometime.
Don't make a huge deal out of it, keep the young ones separated from the older ones for a while until they get to be similar in size and mobility.

Good luck
