    Hi everyone.

I'm Lisa from Alabama. Been thinking about owning backyard chickens for awhile and finally I broke down and purchased 5 orpingtons chicks from lady that had an accidental breeding. However, I'm very new to chickens, so there is a lot for me to learn. I'm sure I will be asking tons of questions that are very common to new chicken owners. So please be patient with me and thank you all in advance for picking your brains on how to raise these cuties.

    Lisa
