I have a small flock of 7 in my backyard in Texas. It consists of 3 Blue Orpingtons, 1 Splash Orpington, 2 Ameraucanas and 1 Rhode Island Red, all of which are around 12 weeks. Not really sure what spurred me to get chickens but I can't imagine not ever having them again. They makes me very happy and crack me up constantly. :)
