I have played lots of Slay the Spire though. Card games are too addicting.

You'll love it! Balatro is super fun especially once you start getting good combos. I don't consider myself an expert but I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about the game

Nah, The Planet Crafter. I don't think I've screened anything out of HOL yet, and the music isn't memorable enbough to me yet to comment on

I added some more games to the herd. One was free, two were on sale. I’m going to wear out MH Wilds before getting into another, but I tried them all just to see how they played.

Cyberpunk looks amazing on the Pro. I have ray tracing turned on and with the extra juice of the Pro it still runs at a smooth frame rate.

Well, I got the Switch 2 and played Mario Kart World. Hmmm...

First issue is the new HDR settings. I have an "older" HDR TV, and the S2 looks really washed out. Seems to be a common problem, with newer TV's being easier to correct. I haven't found a solution and am waiting on a patch.

As for the game, it's been a little bit of a letdown. Some of the courses are fun, but others are just downright boring. I find myself spacing out while holding down the A button. Most of the character unlocks are hidden behind this obnoxious "transformation" mechanism that's RNG-based and super rare. Tried to farm it for 30 minutes (wanted to get the football guy for my husband) and came up empty-handed.

My recommendation would be to wait for more Switch 2 games before purchasing.

So I finally beat Cyberpunk. Fun ride. I’m still playing it briefly each evening just to do side missions I left undone.

Got a new one I’ll dive into once live slows down a bit. Empire of the Ants. Its a RTS where you command insect armies.
