Hi everyone. I am new to raising chickens and recently brought home 2 silkies and 2 speckled sussex chicks that my 7 year old daughter picked out. We also have 3 ducks and are hoping our chickens turn out as fun amd friendly as our ducks did.

I've never had a silkie but I do have 2 SS in my mixed flock and find them to be the sweetest girls we have. And they're so pretty. I hope you enjoy yours!
