Welcome to Backyard chickens. There is also a thread "Canadians, check in here." for news if you get homesick here. How does your little banty hen travel with you? Backpack, in car, on boat ??? We have some chicken folks that live on a boat & so does their chicken- she loves it.

Midge rides on seat of truck with towel under her. Occasionally lays an egg on seat. She is very calm while travelling except when going over a bridge. Something about the superstructure scares her a bit.

Great that you could post an intro! Sure sounds like you are keeping very busy there with all your hobbies & your little hen Is she your only bird now?
