1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes! We got our chickies the 11th of July!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
18! 15 hens and 3 roosters (one rooser was sexed incorrectly!)
(3) What breeds do you have?
Australorps, salmon favorilles, Easter eggers, wynadottes
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
They are so fun to watch and very sweet! I love that they eat so many bugs and till my garden for me! Eggs are my favorite food!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Gardening!
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My boyfriend and I have two pugs and a fat indoor cat!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've been googling about chickens since last April! I've had soooo many questions so I joined to get some individualized answers!
