A friend of my son's built a coop. It is super sturdy and weighs about 1000 lbs! I plan on starting with six chickens and the only breed I'm familiar with are Australorps. My son had six and they were heavy layers. Good tempered too.Hello, Barbara, and welcome to BYC!Glad you joined.
