Thanks! She was saying, at the beginning of the year, we needed to spray pesticides this year to keep the bugs down. I had just read an article about how ducks were good insect control and said "why don't we just get ducks?" As a joke. So she derided me, I of course had to defend my position, and somehow talked her into it. Then I was like, wait a second, do I really want ducks? Apparently I did....
