Welcome to Backyard Chickens tthis is a great place
other post here treat as I do
In the US we can buy permethrin it is for cattle, swine, dogs and poultry. It really worked well and wasn't as smelly as I expected. I have to treat again this week with it to get eggs that didn't die off in the first round and on the plus side there is no egg withdrawal with that stuff.

Hello, and welcome to BYC.

Whenever I'm dealing with ectoparasites infestations I go with a Permethrin-based spray or powder. For the sprays, dilute them down with water per the directions, and spray each bird thoroughly focusing mainly under the wings, and vent area. With the powder just dust them down.

Clean the whole coop, dispose of bedding, and spray all the nest boxe's/roost with the spray or powder. Repeat the whole process in seven-ten days.

The product that I use :

As I note, Permethrin is toxic to cats. So if you have any that routinely are near your chicken coop, it may be best to use something else.
