(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I guess new. I currently don't have chicken but plan to get some within the next few years when I am able to move to a place where I can raise chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
0, I raise quail. I am not able to have chickens at my current residence
(3) What breeds do you have?
N/A
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I am interested in being able to get eggs and meat and knowing 100% that the animal was well-treated.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy painting (due to privacy concerns I will not post my paintings here),
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a cat, a tiny flock of quail, and some mice. The mice and quail have their own space where the cat is not allowed, don't worry.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found y'all when I was first getting my quail, and have been coming back to search questions I had. I noticed how nice and pleasant everyone is and decided today to join so when I have questions I can't find online I can just ask.
