well Ive gone and done it..... become a chicken addict and I dont even have any yet LOL Im driving my husband crazy so I figured I needed to stop lurking on here and introduce myself.
Im looking into getting a small flock of no more than ten this spring (can only have ten due to city code) and after reading so much info my head is spinning
I need some experienced opinions.. I have a small house on a standard city lot and Im concerned about getting regular sized chickens, i just cant imagine 6 8 pound chickens running around in my yard.. should I get bantams instead?? I want them friendly and for eggs, would 10 bantams be better than 3-6 standards like RIR and Easter Eggers?? plus those silkies are soooo cute
thanks Lauren
