June willingly followed him, she didn't understand you had to pay.

June looked behind her then leaned closer to Rodney and whispered, "I don't trust them. If they see my DNA they'll know, or even my blood."
Skye walked down the side walk until it ended. Then she continued walking and left the border of the city. After a few minutes she came to the forest, which was nothing but a few trees and shrubs.
Buchanan quickly devoured his food, then politely wiped his mouth.

Astrid looked down at the bracelet. she gently touched the raven shape with admiration. Then slowly looked up to Raine and smiled.

Carrow slowly leaned over to get the bottle of water and opened it for him. She then set it down in front of him. "If you would like some more, I still have some. Maybe perhaps, I could get you something else. Would you prefer that?" She asked him as she regained her feet. "Or I could give you a tour of the penthouse. If you'd prefer that instead." She asked him.

Raine smiled back at Astrid. He had been thinking about their living situation. "So have you thought about where we will go from here? We can't really go back to that hotel, Astrid. It's just not safe, that man will never get the chance to hurt you again. He would have to come through me. I may not be much, but I pity anyone that tries to get between you and me. Because without you, there is no me." He said it so matter of fact. He then reached out, to once again hold her hand in his. "Astrid, I'm sorry but I have left one of the most important parts, of the courtship ritual to myself. I did so because I didn't want to scare you off. You know, just in case you didn't feel the same about me. But I can't in good conscience, mislead you any further. So here it goes." He leaned all the way into her, until he was just a breath away from her ear. "Ravens mate for life and Astrid, you are mine. So I can't and I won't have anything happen to you." He pulled back a little, to better gauge her reaction to his revelation.

Buchanan sat back, thinking. "I'm good for now... Thank, thank you." He looked around the penthouse. "Yes, I would like a tour."

Astrid admired that Raine would do anything for her. She loved him very much, and was glad that her affections were being returned. She listened intently as he shared his secret. She paused for a moment before replying. "I don't understand why you thought that would scare me away." Patting his hand she continued. "I will accept this ritual as if it were of my own kind. But, Raine, were humans now. And perhaps we should do what they do, too. You see the man usually asks if the woman would be his mate for life. If she says yes they have a ceremony, and they are both given rings, then they become married." She looked at him, hoping she wouldn't hurt his feelings, but she wanted him to understand it was the same as getting married for humans. "I will let you decide if you want to do that or not." She stood up and went to pay their bill, thinking he needed a moment to decide.

"I guess that makes sense," though she was still skeptical Autumn sat down on the bench, trying to blend in.

Sandor nodded at her actions. "Now you are learning. You're doing great, Autumn. I know it's not easy for you now, but it will be." He said to encourage her.

Anna walked along, glancing to Faline to keep the fawn close and in sight, not so hard as it would have been before the forest had been destroyed

Skye walked down the side walk until it ended. Then she continued walking and left the border of the city. After a few minutes she came to the forest, which was nothing but a few trees and shrubs.

Angela looked at what was left of the forest then walked over to a stump of what had been one of her favorite trees to rest in and sighed, kneeling down to touch it softly

There was another wolf in the forest, though at the moment he was in human for, looking at something in his hands.

She embraced the comfort of his arms. They were the only thing that was always there for her. Brook that that if nothing else remained Tucker would always be there for her. "We will be alright."
