Dust trotted after the Fay men. He's gait was much smother than usual.

Jackdaw turned to put both elbows on the stone wall. He said as he looked out over the landscape. "I was thinking about it. But if you are to be there. Then it is now a certainty." He looked back at her over his shoulder with a sly smile.

Aeval glanced around them as the traveled.

Degan nodded then went back to eating his pizza. Then he thought about something that would entertain Zia. He said on an off handed tone. "I almost killed Markus once."

Wisp shifted back to a jerboa and stuffed all the seeds she could into her cheek pouches. She scurried into a hole in her bed and horded the seeds in it. She started busily to make a nest from the long strands of wheat and grasses. She curled up in her nest.

Fable made a hole in her bed and pulled all the fluff out, making a warm and comfy spot on the floor. She laid down and chewed on her steak.

Keldwyn gasped out in surprise. "What magic is in rocks!"

Sirène giggled. "None. I've seen humans do this before." She said as she carefully put the book in the blue flames.

Aaran noticed the guns and started to freak out. If they shot animals.... He quickly dove into some bushes for cover but ended up freezing them til they exploded in tiny ice shards. He started panicking.

The Bata team dodged ice covered wood shards. The drew their guns and all aimed at the destroyed bushes. "Show yourself! " Rex demand.

Keldwyn smiled in triumph. "The stupid humans don't even gaurd their chronicles. They deserve to loose them." She said with conviction.

Alika decided to go into the city. She walked across the street and onto the sidewalk. Weeds sprouted through the cracks of the sidewalk when she passed, because sometimes she forgets to control her powers. Though she stopped making weeds grow and continued walking, looking at everything excitedly.

Keldwyn smiled in triumph. "The stupid humans don't even gaurd their chronicles. They deserve to loose them." She said with conviction.

"There must've be hundreds of them, I doubt they could guard them all." Sirène said as the flames ate away at the book.

He turned to face her, but still had one elbow on the wall. "But Lady Dawn, you look quite exquisite in a gown." He said with all honesty, as he pushed up off the wall and offered her his arm again.

Aeval thought about how the king would take their failure. But with the development of multiple beings helping the Oilin and his human. How could he fault them for their escape.

Degan chuckled and smiled proudly. "Yes." He said simply. Just to keep her waiting.
