Kristen sighed,"Me too. I suggested it so it's my fault." She stared miserably at her shoes,"Home is where your heart is and I want my house back."

Racine nodded as he turned to leave. "For you sake, I'd see to it, I don't." He suddenly stopped and turned back to look at Aaran. "I word of caution. With Elina, watch your back. There are many who want what she is giving you. Enough to kill you for it. So please, be diplomatic. You can hurt, but don't kill. I need my generals, Aaran." He paused as he waited for his response.

Orson chuckled softly. "You do have a way with words. Very aptly put." He said with pride.

Degan was about to answer, when a bright light in the wall caught his attention. "Well, I'll be. Aurelius is always right. It seems the calvary has arrived. " He said as he stood up. "You girls go through, I'm going to help them anyway I can." He said as, Aurelius rushed over to them and watched quietly.

It was about that time that a large selection on cage wall dropped to the ground. Aeval and her sisters smiled happily at Dust. "Our freedom awaits us." She then shifted to her human form, so she could get out easier.

Dawn laughed. "Thanks. I don't know why I said it. It's just some name I've heard people in the lab say sometimes." She realized she didn't know where her friends were, but they would find them eventually. (Ditto.)

Zia was torn between leaving and staying with her friend. "Degan, go. I don't want to run the risk of you getting caught."

Jackdaw frowned at the strange word 'lab' but let it go. "It seems the most likely spot to look for your friends, is in their rooms. They are after all, like you. Not used to the long nights." He suggested quietly.

Degan was torn between the two options. But as he watched the gun carrying shifters, he knew he couldn't shoot one. So he won't be much help. He looked back at Zia's pleading eyes, he he nodded agreement. "Alright, I'll come with you." He said with determination.

Aeval looked to Dust and asked, "Should we try to fly out or walk out?"

Graydon smiled happily as he hugged her back. "Then I shall practice every day, until I get it right. " He promised warmly.

Qdoba smiled as she straightened. "Oh, thank you, Princess! You are very kind. Now would you like for me to run you a bath? It's the best way to ease the aches of dancing too much. We gave an herb that is indulgent, yet effective." She explained helpfully, as she opened the bathing chamber's doors.

Ender took up his position by the balcony door. Once again, converting back into guardian mode.

Ericsson brought his arm around her and held one of her hands in his own. He he squeezed it affectionately, as he continued to watch the movie.

"No truer words have ever been said." He stated fill them in on what has happened. From Aurelius chaining the doors and disabling the cameras. To Estelle spelling the hallway to keep them at bay a little longer. Then went about explaining the floor plans for this floor. He glanced at Anna periodically, to make sure he wasn't overstepping his place.

Cadeon nodded and pulled his gun around him to the front. "Let's kick the tires and light the fires." He charged through the portal.

Bertram and Ashton closed ranks around Estelle. They were equally confused. But they were going to care for this beautiful young lady. Regardless of what her mother thought. Ashton stroked her hair lovingly. "It'll be alright sweetie. You'll see." He said with determination.

Kyra smiled and looked around again "What do you think we need here?" She asked curiously then went to the window

I told her to take caution. But she has chosen not to listen to me. Perhaps you will." He explained as he lathely turned to start walking again.

Orson nodded and picked up a hand gun. He would use mostly magic, but just in case he got surprised and didn't have time to react. He then handed one to Kristen.

Graydon looked down embarrassed. "I would not know. All my life, I have lived in a cage with only hay as bedding, a water bowl and food. But if you draw a picture, I could find it for you." He promised.

Qdoba smiled kindly as she shut the doors again. She then walked to the tub to turn on the water. She found the herbal salt and added it to the warm water. The steam fill the air with a mild wintergreen aroma. "This is one of my all time favorites. " She admitted openly.

Ericsson looked down at her well deserved slumber. He smiled sweetly at her peacefulness. He then returned to watching the movie.

When Zypher finished with the briefing, he looked to Don for orders.

Cadeon stood quietly and listened to Zypher talk. His heart was going a mile a minute.

Orson asked Jackie, "Do we close the portal or leave it open? "

Ashton didn't say anything more. She didn't want to get her hopes up. Not by the way her mother was acting. She instead wrapped her arm around her shoulders. In a comforting way.

Racine nodded and called back. "Learn fast and hard. Prove yourself worthy of her. But until that time, let her help keeping you safe. Don't let foolish pride, be your downfall. I like you." He then walked into the cave. He saw a nervous Elina standing just inside the mouth of the cave. He chuckled softly at the expression on her face. "I didn't hurt him. I promoted him to warrior. That's the best I can do, for now." He looked at her in silence for a long moment. He then stepped forward and kissed her on her forehead. "I love you, my darling half-sister. Gaurd him well, until he masters his powers. Goodnight." Racine then moved to leave.

"Thank you, beloved brother." She said softly, then went to go to Aaran again.
