Zia ripped off a strip of her shirt and began dusting off the sword as he pawed at the ground.

Dust looked up at her curiously. 

Jackdaw nodded and looked to the floor in disgrace. She had rejected him and his blood oath. "I'm sorry. Please forgive me for offending you. I have forgotten yet again, we are from different worlds." He replied respectfully, but his words were distant.

Degan dug at the ground and was making a good sized hole.

Aeval glanced back at Dust and said, "I know not of a place where humans are not, other then the mountain. "

Rio sat down, "I'm sure there are." He said. "Do you really know anyone in this group?" He asked curiously.

"Well, your not always nosey, so you can still be my friend." She said and laughed lightly, "You're lucky, I only have the best of all people as my friends." Sirène told Keldwyn sarcastically.

Aurelius nodded, "I know all the Menagerie captives. I visited them all. Much like I visited you." She explained simply to him.

Keldwyn stared at Sirène for a long moment. "You have friend standards? How odd, I'm usually just happy to have one." She said. Completely missing the sarcasm.

"I too slept well. No predators approached the tree and disturbed me, which is very good. It's not uncommon for coyotes and such to gather around the tree and try to attack me and my family." Bellatrix said conversationally.
"Do you like the way your cave looks now? I'm sure it's more comfortable to sleep in." She said.

"I do like it' Danika said and smiled "It is much more comfortable with a bed in it now" She added happily.

Falkirk guided her to the door of the solarium. He opened it wide so she could see the all glass walls and ceiling. Within it, was very exotic flowers and micro fairies. That fluttered around like butterflies and hummingbirds, of every color. Falkirk looked to see Star's reaction to it.

Arran started to feel sick. Had Markus found them already! She thought in her mind.

Orson looked over at the Alphas talking. He sat and waited for the verdict.

Bertram watched as happy conversation was replaced with awkward silence. He looked to the girl and Aurora, then back to the wolves.

Luce got up and walked with him over to the gathering. She then broke off to leave him to pack business and joined the others. She quickly made herself a sandwich. Something she could eat fast.

Graydon did as instructed once again and said, "Pine trees and water. " He smiled. Finally understand. "I can't smell you, because you are down wind! Now I understand!" He yelled excited.

"Oh wow" Star said softly, looking around at the fairies and flowers in the glass room. This place was enchanting, even if it was closed in. It still felt outside and that made her feel better.

Estelle and Elle leaned up against Aurora, both getting frightened by the sudden tension in the group.

Anna looked to them then focused on Orson "Orson, can you open the portal to the void and hold it without it draining you too much?" She asked "Everyone that was freed will need to go in there to wait for the others to arrive so we can check them for chips"

Jason looked to Anna then over to Don before looking to the group "That other phoenix already left though"

Kyra laughed then shushed him "Scent and hearing are a prey's main first warning signals, so we stay quiet and downwind to sneak up on them"

Jackdaw was quite for a long moment, as he thought of a way to explain it in terms that Dawn, being non-fey would understand. He looked down into her beautiful Pyrenees eyes and said, "When a fey find themselves without worldly possessions. In a moment of great gratitude and resounding respect. They offer the only thing that they truly own, in reward for such a great sacrifice. That thing is their very life. In doing so it's called a life debt and is sworn with a blood oath. That is what I did, Dawn. Now, when one is offered and is subsequently rejected. It is disgraceful and dishonorable. For the recipient has found the individual unworthy and wanting in someway. I know you did not understand. But the rejection still stings my honor and pride."

Degan was about to give up when his claws snagged on something. It was also metal in nature. "I think there's more." He said excitedly, as he dug a little faster.

Aeval nudged her sisters awake. They looked around confused but she thought at them to fill them in. Pandora and Ena looked at Dust with elation. "Then let's go find this place, shall we? " they all said in unison to Dust.

For the forest that was their home, was taken over by the invasive predatory flowers that now dominant the realm. She had all the no predatory flowers that had survived, brought here. But if you look closely, you'll see quite a few earthly flowers. Avalon's favorite earth flowers are lavender, roses, gladiolus and jasmine. These fey seem to enjoy them and best yet, they don't get eaten when they get close to sip nectar."

Ender and Spyro flanked the door and looked around constantly for danger.

Orson nodded and stood up to walk a short distance away. He then opened the portal. He noted that it was a lot easier to do back in his own body. The portal had no drain on him at all. He looked in, at the white void, then glanced back at the group.

Zypher walked over and said to Don, Anna and Jason. "Raine is on his way with the scramblers and chip detecting devices. As far as that Phoenix, we can't track her down."

Aurelius over heard them. She stood up and held up the Phoenix feathers she had known to pick up. "Yes we do have a way to track her." She said softly. She then looked for Degan and Zia. But she didn't see them. "Degan and Zia are gone as well." She pointed out to the leaders.

Aaran's eyes glowed and he blasted them backwards. He thought the power surges were over now that he had the necklace, but apparently not. He clicked his tongue mockingly,"Just remember you brought this apon yourselves." He made the stream that was circling the field rise out of its bed to form a wall. The walls grew spikes so no one could leave. Aaran rubbed his hands together,"Who's first?" He was sick and tired of restraining his powers. These men deserved it.

Taylor scowled,"Now that was completely unfair. Give me a kiss and maybe I'll forget this." She leaned in like she was going to kiss him but she snatched his whole plate. She slowly and dramatically bit into a grape from his plate,"Mmmm.."

Thorn dusted himself off. Then stepped forward with his large sword. " bring it frostbite. " He said.

Nashton grinned while leaning in to kiss Taylor. He kissed her passionately and pulled away chewing the the half grape. "Mmmmm, yummy!" He said with a wink.

Aaran smiled softly but this was turning less enjoyable by the minute. He needed to get out of here. He waved his hand over the ground and created a sword similar to the one he had been describing to Enoch. After nodding he launched into a series of attacks to wear away Thorn's defenses.

Taylor blushed,"Nashton!",but glanced around. Everyone was really tense. "Nashton we should go in with them. You were unconscious around them, right?"

Kristen was sleeping until she heard the chaos outside. She went into the portal with the rest because she had no idea if Markus tagged his workers.

Star frowned at that description of what had happened tot he others and the natural flowers of this realm "Is there no way to fix it? To stop the predatory flowers?" She asked, going over carefully to touch one of the roses then look around again "Wait, invasive, that is a word for what does not belong, right?"She had to ask, since she was already getting an idea to help the tiny beings.

Sorcha approached the two guards and smiled at them, glad to see they were there to protect the new princess

Anna nodded and looked to Aurelius then smiled "That will make it much easier to find her and make sure she hasn't been tagged, though I suspect all of us were" She said then looked to Jason then to Aurora. They should be safe enough, though the girl would have to come in with her and Zypher. "Anyone who has been unconscious around any of his people will have to be checked"

Jason sent a couple of wolves in to get Ember, though they came out after a moment with frowns "The little one won't allow us to get her, we don't want to hurt it"

Aurora sighed and stood "Elle, you and Bertram will have to go in there until we are certain you will be safe" She said then went over to Auelius and held her hand out for the feather "You will have to go in until you can be checked also, I will find this phoenix and the other two, though they feel close"

Kyra smiled at him and stood up "It's alright, you are still learning" She said gently then started looking at the ground "I can still teach you to track this one, and maybe we can find something along the way" She said then sent a smile at him again "Not all hunting trips will be succesful, even when you are an expert."

Orson didn't stop her. He wanted her safe with the others. She was groggy with sleep, so she didn't remember having her chip removed already.
