Dust nodded then took it from her. He worked silently from then on, avoiding looking into the fire. He had dealt with the flashbacks before but they still managed to get to him. Each time it seemed as though something was more intense or had changed. It became hard to tell his visions from what had actually happened. He looked at the sky. This was a rather nice place and he was grateful they had found it. 

Jackdaw nodded as he too took a piece. He closed his eyes in enjoyment. "Oh, just like I remembered. So tender and succulent." He said in reverence.

Degan chuckled lightly and said, "I'll have to take your word on that. I don't know anything about nest. Even if, I'm a lion with wings, I wasn't hatched out, I was birthed. "

Aeval went to gather wild herbs to season the fish. She just loved the scent of lemon balm and sage. She put some inside the cavity of the cleaned fish. She then hung the first stick into the Y of the two branches she had stuck in the ground. She then went and sat down by Dust again and watched him work.

Aaran rolled his eyes,"Fine." He grumbled,"It's not like I have training to do or anything." He started creating glasses and sending them down to the stream and back again. It was a little slow because multiple ones at once tended to slosh around and lose most of the water.

Taylor turned away, her eye ticking. "It looks like Voldemort as a hand. If you think you're making me jealous think again because I'm laughing deep inside. My face doesn't look like it but I'm laughing. You're doing this in public just so that you can drive me crazy but it's not going to work! I think you look really stupid right now." She hissed then glared at him,"And I can kiss like that I just choose not to."

Kristen sighed softly,"I try to be that. It's a lot to live up to though.." She smiled sadly,"She made mistakes but overall she was one of the best people I've ever known."

Nisha shrugged like that answer was good enough for her,"His name is Jeffrey. I woke up and he was sleeping on my face. I have no idea how he got there, but he seemed like a Jeffrey."

Enoch chuckled softly at Aaran's response. He was very impressed with how well Aaran had gained the respect of the other generals. This simple gesture to him, was making a lasting impression on the generals. He was proud of how far he'd come in just one day.

One by one, the generals laughed and thanked Aaran with excited thanks. But the one that was a shock, was Thorn. He took the glass and looked at it curiously. After a moment, he smiled and dipped his head in a gesture of gratitude. "Thank frostbite! " He said with conviction as he turned to go sit in the shade.

"DORK!" Taylor snarled and stalked away. She immediately went to the food and started loading her plate. She needed something to distract her.

Kristen nodded quietly,"She was a great mother. I know this isn't the future she intended for me but I think she'd be proud." Kristen looked at the shifters then back at Orson,"Yeah, I think she would."

Jeffrey cooed and stretched out his neck to be scratched.

Ender smiled at her spirit. "Alright Star. Let's try this one." He said as he went to his brother and demonstrated another defense tackle. After breaking down the components, he said, "Now we're coming for you. You better stop us." The got into position and charged for her.
