"I do not think highly of myself. But there are workers who've kind of formed a friendship with the shifter they take care of." Larry said. "Also don't hold it against me that you're in here, because I can't do anything about it. I would, because all of this magic and wizards and such bothers me, but Markus would most likely kill me in the process if I tried." He told her quietly.

Keldwyn smiled happily and looked to the distant city. " Yeah, that's probably why the do it and gems are better then mirror and lights. " She said honestly.

Sabra stood and walked over to Larry. She stood uncomfortably close to him and looked him eye to eye. " So dispite your limited freedom, you're just a captive in a larger cage. " She said softly. "Ironic really. But it allows me to see you in a new light. Perhaps you aren't as self-righteous as I always thought you were." She stated as she reassessed him.

Larry did take a small step back, not liking being that close to anyone. "I'm not self-righteous." He protested. "But about the first thing, I suppose you are correct."

Danika smiled wider, happy her suggestions were good ones. She looked at the berries and ate some more of them then looked up at the sky, laying back and enjoying this quiet time.

"Your concern is greatly appreciated, but unnecessary. It's always good to step away and come back with a fresh eye. Besides, I'd much rather spend my time in you company, Princess. " Falkirk said with a bow.

Graydon was astonished by the size of the buck. He carefully descended to the ground, but still landed with difficulty. But at least he didn't use his face as a point of impact. "Wow! You are a mistress of the hunt. You are amazing!" He said with awe.

Bata unit took Chaos and Omen to go after the ghost. It was good they had the Humvee. Once he shifted back to his human form, Chaos was a massive male. Omen, not so much. Omen looked around wide-eyed and whispered softly, "Spiders, lots and lots of spiders."

While omega unit took Wrath and Phury to head to the ridge that was just up ahead. The shifters as handlers were in a separate vehicle following the SUV.

"Here they come Jason. Two vehicles, headed this way, one headed out in a different direction. I suspect to Don't direction." Zypher relayed, so everyone could get ready.

"Nonsense, I'm not letting you wear anything. Ember, you're worthy of the finest gems. Yet you humble me, by your gentle graciousness of receiving such a simple sentimental token of my family. I am beyond words, as to how much you mean to me." Cadeon said as he wrapped her in his loving embrace.

Bertram straightened and looked deeply into Jackie's eyes. "Thank you, Jackie." He then stepped forward and softly kissed her cheek with a feathering of his lips.

Nektar smiled pleasantly at Angela. "What a bountiful feast." He said as he took out an apple and bit into it. It's crisp flesh were no match for his sharp teeth.

"Good to go" Jason replied, grabbing his gun so he was also ready now that everyone was caught up. "We take out their shifters and their army. Try not to kill the handlers until last if possible."

Ember held him close. She didn't ever want to lose him now. "It is precious" She said softly "I will cherish it and you forever"

Jackie blushed when he found t he courage to kiss her even on the cheek. "You are very welcome' She said when she found her voice again

Angela smiled and thanked the wolves as they left the two in peace. She picked out some berries and sunflower seeds to eat them as she looked out at the mountain.

There's only so much goat a girl can eat." She reflected.

Bellatrix did the same, but instead of laying down she shifted and sun bathed. She was really enjoying relaxing, it wasn't everyday that everything was still and quiet.

Vorsicht had already caught something and eaten it. She was in the same place though, talking to Avenir and laying down, Avenir still in the tree.

All of the spiders were patient, and all of them made no noise whatsoever and they made sure not to move, since they didn't really know when the pets and humans would show up.

"Yeah, it'd probably be boring eating the same thing. I'll bring that more often, even though I don't think we have much more of it. It's healthy to eat different things every once in a while." Larry said.
(I was thinking that she only ate part of the unicorn, but is she actually eating the entire thing? I don't really know. XD I had him say "I don't think we have much more of it" because I was assuming that she's only eating some of it, though now I'm unsure.)

Falkirk guided her hand to his elbow and started walking for the night garden. All of the flowers there only opened in the absence of the suns. As they headed down the hallway, Falkirk leaned in and whispered, "You look lovely this evening, Princess. "

Ender and Spyro following along silently. Actively scanning the hallway and doorways for signs of Vatgkan.

Zypher watched as the Humvee and SUV came to a stop. They idled there for a moment before one, then the other, shut off the engines. Then the doors opened slowly. Men with guns ready, charged out and took up defensive positions. Then two humans stepped out and looked all around cautiously, before going to the back to open the built-in cages. As soon as they shifters were let out, they were ordered to shift. Allen canvassed the area with his binoculars. Zypher crouched low, mainly to keep the scope from reflecting sunlight. He'd never seen such creatures. A massive flaming Minotaur and something else. If he had to guess, some goblin looking thing.

Allen waited as his men started tracking the signal. One man was walking around slowly with a signal locator. The closer he moved to it, the faster and louder it beeped. While others formed a perimeter, looking into the woods, ready to lay down cover fire if anything went south. The tech stopped at the base of the ridge and looked up it's slope. "Up there sir. The signals coming from up there. It looks like there's a cave up there." He said.

Cadeon chuckled softly, "Sweetness, I won't live forever. You only have to love me until my lifetime is over. I'll be that selfish. That way I won't have to live a day without you in my loving embrace." He said quietly.

Nektar also looked out at the mountain. "Man, it's absolutely beautiful here. So pure and untouched by the hands of man." He said absently.

Iccus was wandering around in the woods. No one noticed him gone, he was unimportant. He wasn't upset, just a little angry. Though this was the way his kind lived.
He limped along a little trail of grass and was heading to a field so he could relax and enjoy the sun. He spent way too much time in the cave, it was beginning to become unhealthy. He needed more sun so he didn't feel sick all the time, and he needed to practice walking correctly so his limp wasn't so severe.
He arrived and the field and sat down, taking a deep breath and trying to relax.

( Well with her true form, a human head and torso, on a winged lion body. She can't eat in her animal form. For she lacks the teeth to tear raw meat. So I have her eating with her hands in her human form. We'll just say, her food is cut into cubes and it's in a bowl. Since she's eating at a table. So to answer your question, no, she's not eating the whole animal. Just a roast sized portion. Hope that helps?)

Alpha unit and company were speeding to the beeping signal. This kind of precautions ment it was probably a trap of some sort and Omen had said Spiders. So this day was going to get hairy. The driver slowed, signaling that they were getting close. He looked out the window and looked for any reason to use lethal force. He love blowing shifters away. The two natured freaks.
